I found this on Facebook and wanted to share it out of gratitude and respect for veterans and truck drivers.
It’s acts like this that make America Great. Rick McFadden is a Vietnam Vet and retired police officer. Taking time out of his day to provide free lunches to our Truck Drivers who continue to move America.
Rick told me that when the COVID19 shutdown started, him and his wife witnessed a driver being rejected at a Wendy’s drive thru for walking up to the window. Rick and his wife invited the driver to hop in their car and took him through the drive thru and bought his meal.
Through his service, Rick met a driver who lost her cat here in Utah. He for some reason got her number. He later found the cat and texted the driver who is waiting on a load back to get it. Meanwhile, the cat is being cared for at a friends house.
With all the chaos in the world today, it’s nice to see a small act of kindness and appreciation.
