My name is Carl Ames. I was born in Logan, Utah and currently live in Peoria, Arizona. I am married to my wonderful wife, Leisa, and we have 5 amazing children and 8 awesome grandchildren. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I have worked for Knight Transportation for the last 30 years and have loved my career in the trucking industry.
I was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease in 2008. I am an ambassador for the Davis Phinney Foundation that helps people live well with Parkinson’s disease. You can learn more about them here.
I enjoy cycling, hiking, cake baking and decorating, and spending time with my family and friends.
