I want to introduce my friend, Diane Stephenson PhD, who I also have dubbed her to be the W.A.P.D, which I created this title for her as she is the Worlds Ambassador for Parkinson's Disease. Diane is a neuroscientist and the director of the Critical Path Institute in Tucson, Arizona. I met her a few years ago and quickly became friends. She is so smart! She is so kind and down to earth. She rides bikes! [...]
For a great read to boost your level of gratitude and inspire you please consider getting a copy of my friends book The Gratitude Connection by Amy Collette. Amy is Tom Casey's wife who I have spotlighted earlier. Amy is an amazing person. Together Amy and Tom make a dynamic couple. She has such a humble and beautiful personality. I am very grateful for our friendship! From her book comes this quote from Amy..."Gratitude is [...]

I have always been fascinated with this. I don't know if I will ever make it there or not, but if I don't I want express to Christian Doullec for doing what he does to get these geese raised and into their migratory route. I also am grateful for National Geographic for the great videography. It makes it so we can see these wonderful things without having to leave our homes. https://youtu.be/5QAjfH05IUE

I want to introduce one of my very best friends that I have met because I have Parkinson's Disease. I am sure that I never would have met him otherwise. We met a few years at a support group gathering at the Muhammad Ali Center. We were about the same age and we had the same interests and I really wanted him as a friend. I soon learned that Brian's family had created the Baehr Challenge, [...]
“As with all commandments, gratitude is a description of a successful mode of living. The thankful heart opens our eyes to a multitude of blessings that continually surround us.” – James E. Faust
When I came across this speech by my friend Chad Killebrew, I knew it was exactly something that I wanted to share on my blog. He recently graduated from the University of Utah, with his Ph.D I think in humor! He did this while commuting back and forth from Arizona to Utah, away from his family for periods of time, and was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in the process. Chad is a very positive individual and [...]
